24th India Knit Fair starts at Tirupur
The 24th India Knit Fair (IKF) (Spring/ Summer Collection, 2008) will be held at Tirupur from May to 11.Fashion shows showcasing inspiring Spring/Summer Collections 2008 with leading models will be held on the first two days of the fair which will be held in the newly constructed Convention Centre at the India Knit Fair Association (IKFA) Complex, said chairman of IKFA Sakthivel on Wednesday.The participants are expected to display a wide range of collections, including T-shirt, pull overs, shorts, blouses, golf line polo shirts, nightwear’s leggings, jerseys, trousers, breaches, women/girl skirts apart from an extensive collectionof cotton blended garments for men, women, children and babies."The knitwear exporters from all over India will display their products in the fair and they have already equipped themselves with current trend to meet the buyers’ requirements," said Sakthivel.
