BSNL redused ARD for new connections
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Coimbatore, has announced revision of Advance Rental Security Deposit (ARD) for the new landline, wireless in local loop and mobile postpaid connections.Security deposit has been reduced to Rs. 500 for local and 95 dialling facility, while it would be Rs. 1,000 for STD facility and Rs. 2,000 for ISD facility.The offer is applicable only for new connections.A release from the BSNL said that the existing subscribers who had paid ARD lower than the amount prescribed would not be required to pay the difference. However, no refund of ARD would be made to those subscribers who had paid higher ARD than the prescribed amount.
