Free stove service for Bharatgas consumers
Planting of saplings at the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) bottling plant and free hot plate service campaign to ensure safety and reduce the consumption of LPG marked the observance of the World Environment Day.Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) officials planted saplings at the LPG plant on the outskirts of Coimbatore that catered to the LPG needs of 10 lakh Bharatgas customers.To ensure safety of its customers and to enhance fuel efficiency of the hot plates (stoves), BPCL had launched a free hot plate service camp.
BPCL territory manager S. Thangavel and territory co-ordinator Pradeep Nair launched the afforestation drive and the hot plate service camp. The Bharatgas consumers could get their stoves serviced free of cost with their respective distributors throughout this week.The distributors would also take up tree planting drive in their areas, the BPCL authorities said.
