Free vocational training courses for men and women
The Community Polytechnic Scheme of the Government Polytechnic College, Avinashi Road, is offering free vocational training courses for men and women, to help them take up gainful employment in various areas, after completion of these courses.The courses are as follows, according to a release issued here:
Airconditioning (men) for six months, Electrician (men and women) for six months, Computer and Data Entry (men and women) for three months, Tailoring and Embroidery (women) for six months, Soft-toys and Artificial Flower Making (women) for two months, Paper Carry Bag Making (men and women) for two weeks, screen printing (men and women) for two weeks and painting for one month.
