India's first ever wrinkle-free auto fit trouser

Male fashion specialist Royal Classic Group (RCG) of Classic Polo fame has come out with India's first ever wrinkle-free auto fit trouser with brand name of O'press that will set the Rs 8,500 crore Indian trouser market abuzz.The design technology is outsourced from Germany and later adapted for Indian body structures by a team of dedicated designers.Aggressively priced between Rs 1000 and Rs 2000 Royal Classic premium trouser brand O'press has been developed using the best cotton fabric enriched with Weishi technology from China.

The new premium trouser plant will formerly be inaugurated by Union Textile Minister Mr Shankarsinh Vaghela on June 7 at a fashion event to be held at Tirpur -the fast emerging textile hub.Addressing the media today Executive Director (RCG) Mr R Sivaram said, ''The O'press brand has been engineered keeping in mind the changing market and consumer preferences. Targeted at the core premium segment of the Indian male in the age bracket of 25-40 years, the range would comprise formals, semi formals and smart casuals.The trouser's plant has come up at Vaagarai near Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu on 16000 sq ft area at a cost of Rs 4 crore and has a production capacity of 800 pairs of trousers per shift with over 120 employees.


The company expects Rs 10 crore turnover through 1750 multi-brand outlets and 36 exclusive brand outlets.The market size of the Indian trouser market is roughly 10 per cent of the apparel market and RCG claims to contribute significantly for the market growth. The apparel market growth is fuelled by fast emerging segment with disposable income levels and the retail boom sweeping across the country.Royal Classic's flagship brand Classic Polo has recently bagged the ''Brand of the Year'' award at the popular CMAI (Clothing Manufacturers Association of India) Apex awards. Classic Polo won in the category Men's Casual Wear (small and medium).


Royal Classic Group has opened its third retail outlet in Coimbatore on NSR Road, Saibaba Colony. This was the 35th exclusive brand outlet in the country. It would have Classic Polo T-shirts, trousers, cargos, denim, jackets and Smash branded men's innerwear. The company proposed to have 100 exclusive outlets in the country by end of financial year.
