'Intel Channel Conference' event started
In order to enable the channel to understand new demands and offer best solutions for their customers, Intel is conducting a series of its bi-annual channel event called Intel Channel Conference (ICC) all across the country. The event offers insights into Intel's technology roadmap and emerging market trends. The event kick started from Pune on May 22 and will end on June 19 at Lucknow covering overall 16 cities (metro and non-metro), including Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Kochi, Ludhiana, Delhi, and Bhopal. Speaking to itVARnews, Director, Sales and Marketing (North), Sandeep Aurora said, “The main objective of organizing this event is not only to educate channel partners about technology but also about the latest market trends so that they can take advantage of the same and enhance their business.The theme of this year's ICC is 'Multiply' and the focus is how to use technology to multiply the efforts and results of Consumers, SMBs and Large Enterprises. Intel has also invited companies like Nvidia, Kobian, MSI, Asus, and Gigabyte to showcase their offerings at the event.Through such events we plan to go beyond metros and augment our reach. This series enables our channel to be aware of, and to offer the latest in technology, across all product segments - desktops, laptops, and servers. The sole idea is to enhance their knowledge and help them make full use of this opportunity,added Aurora.
Through such events the vendor wants to focus more on its Core 2 Duo Technology apart from Centrino and is targeting GIDs, SIs, resellers and solution providers. When asked about the response so far, Aurora commented, “We have received a tremendous response from channel partners so far. The sessions have been really good. We are confident and are expecting same response from remaining cities as well.
