PG degree on M.Sc Sugarcane Technology @ TNAU
Considering the importance of sugarcane research and sugarcane production in the country, a PG Degree Programme on M.Sc Sugarcane Technology is being introduced in the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode from this academic year.The programme, a pioneering attempt and to begin from the second week of this month,would benefit sugarcane research and development personnel working in research stations, Sugar factories, State department and public and private undertakings, Dr G Selavaraj, Director, ODL, said.The course was aimed at enriching the knowledge and technical expertise of graduates in life sciences besides enhancing their employment potential to have a career in the field of sugarcane research and development, Selvaraj said.The programme, a pioneering attempt and to begin from the second week of this month,would benefit sugarcane research and development personnel working in research stations, Sugar factories, State department and public and private undertakings, Dr G Selavaraj, Director, ODL, said.The course was aimed at enriching the knowledge and technical expertise of graduates in life sciences besides enhancing their employment potential to have a career in the field of sugarcane research and development, Selvaraj said.
