Kathirmathiyon said that even in the month of Aani merchants have started offering Aadi discounts.Buyers should first compare the price of the same commodity with that prevailed a couple of months back and the price after Aadi to see the difference in prices.Few merchants maintained the true spirit of Aadi sale to clear their stock.Some of the shops have made ‘Aadi discount sale’ boards permanent.People should question the possibility and feasibility for offering discounts ranging from 5 per cent to 50 per cent.Buyers should think as to whether it would be practical to offer such discount rates.Only rejected items could be sold at 50 per cent discounts otherwise it is not feasible to offer beyond 10 per cent to 15 per cent, he said.
