LMW donated 10 cents to Corp for laying road

This formed part of a concept that organisations, especially corporate bodies, had the obligation to consider the interests of customers, employees, shareholders, communities and ecological considerations in all aspects of their operations, the release said.The company was part of a group that manufactured steel, paint, chemical and textiles.Its central office was located at Sowripalayam in the city where the residents of Rajaji Nagar made a fervent plea for a road to their colony.Following this, Mr. Sam took steps to buy two sites measuring five cents each and donated them to the Corporation for laying the road, the release said.The Mayor and others appreciated this gesture shown by a private firm towards the common public and assured it that the road would be laid soon.
