Pre-departure brief by British Counsil
It will be held at The Residency on July 20 between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.British Council will organise a pre-departure briefing to students who have received an offer of admission from an institution at the United Kingdom, or, are in the process of applying to one, or, are preparing to leave for the U.K. soon.According to a council release, the briefing will be held at The Residency on July 20 between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.It will cover advice on student visa application and immigration, travel, settling down in the United Kingdom, student loans, accommodation, working part-time, health and finances.There will also be an interaction with alumni who have studied in the U.K.Visa section officials from the British High Commission will be present to offer expert advice.Those interested can register by paying a fee.For details, contact 044-42050600; or log on to chennai.educationuk@in.britishcouncil.org.
