Racing Championship starts Today !
The second leg of the JK Tyre National Racing Racing Championship will be held from July 14.The round would comprise one qualifying and two races. Eight races wil be held in each round two in each class, a press release from the organisers said here today.The qualifying races would be held on July 14 and races in all four classes during the pre-lunch session the next day.Team NK Racing dominated Formula Rolon Chevrolet category, with emphatic wins in both races in Round one here last month.Saran Vikram of Team NK Racing leads with a tally 18 points while Sarosh Hataria of Team Price Racing is second with 12 points. Tied in third place with 11 points each are C Rajaram from Team Prime, Aditya Patel from Team NK and Anand Prasad of Team Gemini Racing.
The team championship position leader is Team NK with 29 point followed by Prime and Gemini with 24 and 11 points respectively.In the Formula LGB Hyundai class, teenage sensation from Chennai and Team Rams Racing Ashwin Sunder is leading with 22 points. Anand Prasad is second with 16, while Rayomand Banajee of Gemini and Narain Shankar of Team Rams are at third spot with 11 points apiece.
Rams heads the team championship table with 33 points. Gemini is in second spot with 27 and WSRF with Leela And Prime Racing are tied in third place with two points each. Aditya is in the lead in the Formula LGB Swift with 19 points. Aswin Sunder is second with 15. Both Saran Vikram and Saahi Shelar of Team WSRF with Leela have 10 points. Team Gemini leads with 25 points, followed by WSRF-with Leela with 22 points. Rams is third with 19 points. (Agencies)
