Spot admission begins at BU
Spot admission is on at Bharathiar University and 80 of its study centres in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, for 90 courses in the distance education mode.According to a release from N. Balasubramanian, Director of the School of Distance Education of the university, these courses include under-graduate and post-graduate degree and diploma programmes.Diploma-holders in the relevant subject will be allowed entry to an under-graduate course in the second year; while post-graduate diploma holders can join the second year of a post-graduate degree course. Candidates having a post-graduate diploma in computer-related subjects can get admission to the second year of the MCA programme. The university is offering a 25 per cent fee concession for teachers of approved schools, defence, police, media personnel and its alumni.Applications can also be downloaded from the university’s website http://www.b-u.ac.in/.
