The Salem Railway Division Protection Committee has deferred its decision to block the trains to and from Kerala today to protest against the state’s opposition to the bifurcation of Palghat division.Reports from Coimbatore said that the all-party decision was deferred in view of the petition coming up in the Supreme Court today. The report said that the committee would go ahead with the railway blockade if the court decision went against Tamil Nadu.
