Since the revamping of the School of Distance Education of Bharathiar University, 15,000 students have made use of it and applied for various courses in the last two months, Vice-Chancellor G. Thiruvasagam said here recently.The school was looking to open centres in Malaysia and Singapore.“There will be two dedicated helplines for the convenience of students of the university and its affiliated colleges. Students who have grievances can call 2427752; while those who have to call the city study centre can contact 2427742," said Dr. Thiruvasagam.
