The District Collector, Neeraj Mittal, has asked the revenue and local body officials to conduct a survey of the unauthorised advertisement hoardings and submit a report within one week.The Collector convened a meeting on removal of unauthorised advertisement hoardings along the roadsides.He pointed out that the State Government has ordered removal of such hoardings. Addressing a meeting of revenue officials, police, rural development and other local bodies, Mr.Mittal said that officials should conduct a survey on the unauthorised hoardings in their areas.He also asked them to submit a report within one week.He also exhorted the officials to start removing these hoardings.He said that those who had installed such hoardings should come forward and remove it. He warned them that the district administration would remove the hordings if they failed to do so.
