Mega Property Fair 2007 begins
Aspirants interacting with bank officials at the "Mega Property Fair 2007" in the city on Friday.The Mega Property Fair 2007 showcasing the home loan and car loan products with offers on rate of interest and processing charges of the State Bank of India, Region I Zonal Office was inaugurated on Friday.The three day fair from Friday to Sunday at Padmavathy Ammal Cultural Centre on Avanashi Road was inaugurated by K.A. Krishnamurthy, Deputy General Manager of the State Bank of India – Zonal Office, Coimbatore and the Chief Guest, G. Bhaktavatchalam, Chairman of KG Hospitals also visited the fair.
The Assistant General Manager, C. Jeyasooria said that the fair was to create a platform for the prospective buyers of properties to meet the major property developers. Free personal risk cover was also available for the home loan borrowers. The total business mobilised during the event was expected to cross Rs 500 crore. The fair offers 0.50 per cent reduction on interest rate and 50 per cent waiver in processing charges for both the home and car loans. V. Sukumar, Assistant General Manager said that the fair had the participation by 26 property promoters, real estate promoters and car dealers and a panel of advocates were also present there to offer legal consultancy service to the property aspirants.
