The Sericulture Department will extend assistance to youth and entrepreneurs interested in starting silk reeling or silk twisting units as a self-employment initiative.A release said subsidy would be extended by the Central and State Governments to 10 entrepreneurs. The last date to obtain application forms for this programme was September 25.
