The fifth edition of “Karishma”, inter-collegiate cultural fest of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, will be held on the college premises here on September 1. Speaking to presspersons here on Thursday, Principal N. Yesodha Devi said that the one-day fest would see nearly 4,000 students from 50 colleges take part in the various events. To be inaugurated by Commissioner of Police C.K. Gandhirajan, the fest would constitute individual and group events.Students interested in taking part in the events should register before September 1. Spot registrations would not be entertained. There would be prize distribution in the evening by Coimbatore Airport Director K. Hemalatha. Prizes in cash and gift hampers worth more than Rs. 1 lakh are in the pipeline for the lucky winners.
