“Outstanding Corporate Fellow Member” award
The Institution of Engineers (India) will confer the “Outstanding Corporate Fellow Member” award on Rangaswamy Rangarajan, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, here on Thursday.According to a release, he will be honoured on the occasion of the 40th Engineer’s Day at the PSG College of Technology.Mr. Rangarajan was earlier recognised by The International Biographical Centre (IBC), Cambridge, England, as the “Outstanding Scientist Worldwide” for 2007.According to a citation from the IBC, Mr. Rangarajan will be eligible to receive the medal and the certificate. It reads: “As holder of this distinction your work has not only been noticed, but recognised as outstanding. It is henceforth decreed that you should be on this list for 2007, but as bearer of this honour you will be recorded for perpetuity in the halls of the International Biographical Centre.”
