RTO-South shifted to Peelamedu
The Regional Transport Office (South) is being shifted from Dr. Balasundaram Road to HMS Kalyana Mahal on Pudur Road at Peelamedu.A press release from the transport office has said that the shifting was being done because of complaints of congestion on the existing premises that housed the offices of both the south and north divisions.The shifting would be done in phases. The first phase of the shifting on Monday (September 17) would involve the issuing of learners’ licence from the new premises from 9.30 a.m. The other functions would continue at the office on Dr. Balasundaram Road until further notice, the release said.From Monday, people who resided in Coimbatore South Taluk should contact the Regional Transport Office (South), HMS Kalyana Mahal, 101-110, Pudur Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore-641004 for learners’ licence.
