Special trains to Chennai
Southern Railway will operate following special trains to clear extra rush of passengers:I) Chennai Central – Coimbatore – Chennai Central Specials: Train No.0623 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Special will leave Chennai Central at 22.20 hrs on September 5, 12, 19 and 26 (Wednesdays) and arrive Coimbatore at 07.15 hrs the next day.
Train No. 0624 Coimbatore – Chennai Central Special will leave Coimbatore at 23.45 hrs on Sept 6, 13, 20 and 27 (Thursdays) and arrive Chennai Central at 08.15 hrs the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 1 First Class, 10 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode and Tiruppur. Train No. 0624 will stop at Perambur also.
