The district administration will organise a children’s film festival from October 8 to 17 to motivate children to develop their talents.In a meeting conducted recently by District Revenue Officer S. Prabhakaran, it was decided that a movie produced by the Children’s Film Development Corporation, Government of India, would be screened in various theatres in Coimbatore, Tirupur and Pollachi on all the 10 days. The movie aimed at developing students’ innate talents and thinking ability. Students from Classes V to IX could watch the movie free of cost. Competitions based on the movie would be held after the screening.
