About 400 students from over 85 schools in Coimbatore participated in the International Art and Craft Contest 2007 conducted by Pidilite Industries here recently. Mayor R. Venkatachalam inaugurated the contest.The contest, which was held at various centres all across the country, had about 20 lakh students participating.Two students from the Indian Red Cross Society’s school for the speech and hearing impaired, Kavundampalayam also participated in the competition.
