Interschool competitions
FICCI Ladies Organisation, Coimbatore Chapter, will organise interschool competitions on “Global Warming” on October 26 to create awareness on global warming. A symposium for students will also be held on October 27 at 9.30 a.m. at Venkatalakshmi Kalyana Mandapam, Trichy Road, along with the prize distribution.It will be handled by resource persons from Exnora, Chennai.The workshop on global warming will be interactive.Quiz (for Standard IX, X, XI and XII), elocution (VI, VII and VIII), painting (VI – Plus Two) and slogan writing contests will be held on October 26. For the slogan writing contest, students can write slogans on global warming and drop it in the drop box at the venue.Cash prizes of Rs.1,000, Rs.750 and Rs.500 will be awarded to the first, second and third prizes for all the competitions.
