Jegannathan (third right) flagging off the propaganda vehicle at Gandhipuram in Coimbatore on Friday.To mark the ongoing Road Safety Week celebrations, a propaganda vehicle of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC)-Coimbatore division was flagged off here on Friday.City Police Commissioner C.K. Gandhirajan and TNSTC Managing Director K. Jegannathan along with General Manager M. Ponraj flagged off the propaganda vehicle at an awareness programme organised at the Gandhipuram bus stand.The vehicle will visit crowded places, road junctions, bus stands and railway station to spread the message on road safety.The vehicle will have illustrations on road safety, road rules and safe driving/riding habits besides pictures of accidents.The TNSTC staff in the vehicle will distribute handbills and pamphlets on road safety.
