MoU between CIET & CODISSIA
A memorandum of understanding between Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (CIET) and the Coimbatore District Small Scale Industries Association (CODISSIA) was signed here on Thursday.According to a college release, the MoU that was signed between K. Thanushkodi, Principal, CIET, and C. Muthusami, President, CODISSIA, will include regular exchange of information and resources covering product innovation, technical development and management practices and updating of knowledge and skills of mutual benefit.It will also include training of representatives from industries in the college and training of faculty on the shop floor.Visit of industrial experts, placement services, joint-venture programmes, entrepreneurial exposure, etc. will also come under the purview of the MoU.K.A. Chinnaraju, Director, CIET, and P. Natarajan, Principal, Coimbatore Institute of Management and Technology, spoke.
