Scheme for Self employment for women
A scheme to provide “Self Employment and Entrepreneurship Development” for farm women and tribals will be implemented by imparting training in production of vermicompost and mycorrhizal bio-fertilizers at the Forest College and Research Institute, Mettupalayam.According to a release from M. Govinda Rao, Dean, the institute of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will operate the scheme from 2007 to 2010.
