Work spot training for postel employees
The Tamil Nadu Postal Circle has introduced “work spot training” for its staff. The first such programme for Western Region of the Tamil Nadu circle was conducted at Ganapathy Post Office here on Monday.In a release, the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, P.P. Arumugam, said that all the 34 staff members of the Ganapathy Post Office and its branches were given the training. The programme helped the staff learn more about the new features introduced by the Department and also handling various functions of the post offices.The staff members were trained after business hours. The training would be conducted for the staff of the Coimbatore Bazaar Post Office on November 6. In another release, Mr. Arumugan said that the Sinniyampalayam post office had been upgraded and would offer speed post, rural postal life insurance products, savings account and all other regular postal services from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
