Firm arms licence renewal last date
The Coimbatore City Police Commissioner, C.K. Gandhirajan, has asked holders of fire arms licences to immediately apply for renewal of validity since the licences for the fire arms would expire on December 31.If they failed to get the licence renewed on time, legal action would be taken against them. Those who were not able to get their arms licence renewed beyond the validity period shall deposit their weapons with the nearest arms dealer or police station so as to prevent themselves from unlawfully retaining possession of such weapons. They must immediately apply thereafter for renewal. Licensees residing in Coimbatore City and have not renewed their licence because of change of residence shall report this fact immediately to the Commissioner of Police.
