The Hindu Metro Plus Lifestyle Show 2007 will open at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex on Friday.The third edition will offer a retail shopping extravaganza with a variety of products. It has been attracting over 80,000 visitors every year at the nine cities in which it is held.Having started in Chennai in 2004, the show is now organised in Madurai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, New Delhi, Vishakapatnam, Bangalore and Kochi, apart from Coimbatore. Around 300 stalls spread over 75,000 sq ft will showcase consumer electronics, automobiles and accessories, furniture and furnishings, kitchen accessories, home appliances, bathroom fittings, arts and handicrafts, beauty and health care products, home needs and interiors, textile and jewellery, computers and IT products, gift items and so on.The chief sponsor of the show is Samsung. It will display its high-end LCDs and plasma televisions.The associate sponsors are General Motors, Ashan Perfumes, The Chennai Silks, Ideal Stores, Classic Polo and Girias Electroncis.
NDTV24*7 is the channel partner, National VHS is the gift sponsor and Sabols is the official water partner for the event. I Care Communication, an event management company, is managing the event.The show will be on till December 25. It will be open from 10.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.
