Moorthy, Assistant Editor, Limca Book of Records and R. Venkatachalam, Mayor, Coimbatore, here on Friday.
The organisation entered the Guinness World Records for completing the world’s longest drawing and conducting a national level talent and literary competition for school students – Clinic Plus Gateway 2007 – that had the maximum participation of students in the world.It has entered the Limca Book of World Records for the world’s longest drawing, for Clinic Plus Gateway, world’s largest signature campaign for HIV/AIDS awareness and the event titled, “India at Her Best.”Elite Group of Organisations also honoured its panel members B. Anand Kumar, Joint Managing Trustee, Nikita Charitable Trust, C.Natarajan, Principal, Kongu Vellalar Matriculation Matriculation Higher Secondary School, D.E. Srinivas, Assistant State Commissioner, Scouts, Tamil Nadu, and R. Ponnuswamy, Managing Director, Aroma Group of Companies, as it was celebrating the completion of 10 years.
According to Mr. Pradeep, from 2000 to 2007, the organisation has organised eight mega events and made 14 world records.In addition to the 416 orphaned children it helps every year, the organisation has adopted 15 poor girl children from Standard VI to Standard VIII, Mr. Pradeep said.Their education, health and medical needs would be taken care of till the time they reached college.
