Sobha Developers Foot Prints In Coimbatore
Bangalore-based Sobha Developers Limited (SDL) announced the launch of its first residential project 'Sobha Emerald' in Coimbatore, the fast emerging hub of information technology (IT) in Tamil Nadu. The city is also dubbed as the business process outsourcing (BPO) city of the southern Indian state.Speaking at the public launch, the company's regional director Sanjay Sarathy said, "Coimbatore is strategically located in close proximity to Kerala and hills of Western Ghats and is aptly called 'Manchester of South India'.The salubrious climate of Coimbatore, textiles and automobile component industries and emerging IT and BPO industries offer tremendous potential for real estate development."The first phase of the project would be spread across 11.6 acres of land consisting of 61 luxurious villas of four different types. The areas of these villas will range between 2,700 and 3,500 square feet.Sobha Emerald will be built in a serene and lush green environment and promises a "truly international lifestyle". The area is expected to remain free of congestion as the substantial portion of the land around the locality is owned and cultivated by an agricultural university.The project cost is estimated to be around Rs750 million and Sobha aims to complete the construction within 36 months.
