VLB Signs MoU with Pricol
S.Subramanyan, advisor, VLB Trust (left), and S.Purushothaman, Director, Pricol Academy of Excellence (centre), signing a Memorandum of Understanding in Coimbatore on Monday.The School of Management, VLB Janakiammal College of Engineering and Technology, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pricol Academy of Excellence here on Monday.The management students would undergo a Business English Communication Programme, said S.Purushothaman, Director, Pricol Academy of Excellence. Training would also be given in skill assessment, competency development and outbound training programmes. The Business English Programme would be for 30 hours. The students would be trained to prepare for the test conducted by the British Council and the BEC Certificate of the University of Cambridge.
“In the present scenario of employability, inadequacy in communication skills is an issue,” S.Subramanyan, former Registrar and Vice-Chancellor of Bharathiar University and advisor of the VLB Trust, said. The understanding between both the institutions would make the students competent in communication skills. However, the students should also willingly participate in the programme, he added.
