Aavin announecd price hike
The Coimbatore District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Limited (Aavin) has announced revision in prices of milk with effect from March 10.A release from the general manager of Aavin said that the card rate of 1 litre and half-a-litre of toned milk would be Rs. 15.75 and Rs. 7.90 respectively.The cash price would be Rs. 18 and Rs. 9 respectively. Card rate of standardised milk would be Rs. 21.50 for 1 litre and Rs. 10.75 for half-a-litre. Revision in prices of milk with effect from March 10
Cash price would be Rs. 22, Rs. 11 and Rs. 6 respectively for 1 litre, half-a-litre and quarter litre. Cash price of full cream milk would be Rs. 24 and Rs. 12 respectively for 1 litre and half-a-litre.Card holders should pay the difference in price from March 10 to March 15 and the difference in cost for the milk purchased from March 1 to 9 to the office through the Aavin milk selling agents of the respective area on or before March 15.
