Request From Disabled Persons
Over 100 employed persons with disabilities have requested the UDIS Forum, a network assisting persons with disabilities in finding jobs, to organise pre-employment training courses. They were participating in a meeting organised by the Forum. Forum would organise a workshop for representatives of industries in Coimbatore
A parents’ group was also formed, which would meet on the last Saturday of every month to plan and implement self-employment opportunities The Forum would organise a workshop for representatives of industries in Coimbatore to sensitise them to the abilities of persons with disabilities.
