Coimbatore City Police Commissioner C.K. Gandhirajan on Wednesday presenting rewards to special team members probing the pistol robbery case.City Police Commissioner C.K. Gandhirajan on Wednesday gave away cash rewards to the tune of Rs. 1 lakh and meritorious service entry to 100 members of the special police teams for nabbing three members of a sandalwood smuggling gang involved in robbing a nine mm pistol and a cell phone from two policemen on February 23. The teams on March 1 arrested three persons at Naatukkal police limits in Palakkad and seized a jeep.
Mr. Gandhirajan was confident of a complete breakthrough in the case soon.
