Spl Trains From Meetupalayam To Ooty
In order to clear extra rush of traffic during summer period of April to June, special trains will be run between Mettupalayam and Udagamandalam from March 29 to June eight. Train No.0670 will start from Mettupalayam at 9 AM daily to reach Udagamandalam at 1.50 PM, while in return direction, train No.0669 will depart at 12.15 PM from Udagamandalam to reach Mettupalayam at 3.50 PM, a southern railways press release said today. Trains will not (not) run for one day on April 25 due to operational reasons, it said.
Similarly, the railways will run a daily special train No. 0668, which would start at 3.15 PM from Coonoor to reach Udagamandalam at 4 PM, the release said. The first service of these special trains will be on March 29 and the last service on June eight, the release said.
