Coimbatore Crosses Target
Coimbatore region has mobilised policies worth Rs. 40.5 crore under the Rural Postal Life Insurance Scheme during 2007-2008. A release from the Department of Posts said this was about Rs. 10 crore more than the target. The scheme had encouraging response from the rural public since it was combined with savings.
