Govt Invited Expression of Interest
The State Government has invited proposals of Expression of Interest from industries for upgrading Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Tamil Nadu into Centres of Excellence. ccording to a release from C. Ravichandran, Regional Joint Director of Training, Department of Employment and Training, Coimbatore, the Government has started a scheme to upgrade the ITIs under public-private partnership mode.Under the scheme, an interest-free loan of Rs. 2.5 crore would be given by the Central Government
Under the scheme, an interest-free loan of Rs. 2.5 crore would be given by the Central Government to upgrade the ITIs into Centres of Excellence.
