Insurance Policy For Students At BU
Bharathiar University in association with Oriental Insurance Company Limited has started an insurance policy for accident cover for students studying in its departments. According to a university release, parents of Nalini, a first year M.Sc. mathematics student, who died in a fire accident on January 27 was paid Rs. 1.5 lakh.Vice-Chancellor G. Thiruvasagam handed over the cheque to the parents on March 11.
