Job Fair In Tirupur
Axon Global Consulting, a division of Axon Infosoft Group, will organise a job fair in Tirupur for the apparel and textile sector, in association with the Textiles Committee. The fair will be held at the IKF Trade Fair Complex on May 24 and 25. More than 75 companies across the textile chain and nearly 30,000 job seekers are expected to participate in the two-day event.
Selection will be held for executives and operatives and the applicants should produce a copy of their resume, two passport size photographs, ration card, all testimonials and age proof certificate for the unskilled category. They can register online at http://www.tirupurjobs.net/ or http://www.texjobs.net/ .Candidates can send in their applications through ST Couriers. The company has kept drop boxes at all its offices in the State and the applications will be accepted free of cost for delivery to the organisers.
C.S. Manoharan, chief executive officer of Axon, told presspersons here on Friday that in order to create awareness and employment opportunities for those residing in the Southern districts, the organisers had contacted the district administration in these areas too. Those applying for the executives category should be a graduate or a post-graduate and those applying for the operatives category should have studied up to Standard V and aged above 18. Help desks and volunteers would be available for assistance at the venue. Similar events had been held in other textile centres and the first edition was held in Tirupur in July 2007.
