UGC Grant
The University Grants Commission has sanctioned a grant of Rs. 7 lakh to the Department of Biosciences of Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, to start a new career-oriented programme in nano medicine. The programme, the first of its kind in the colleges affiliated to Bharathiar University, will begin from the coming academic year. The course will be introduced under the “UGC Career Oriented Programme”.
