Award For Lotus Eye Hospital Chairman
Lotus Eye Hospital Chairman and Managing Director Selva K. Sundaramurthy receiving the award from former Governor of Tamil Nadu Bhishma Narain Singh. The All India Achievers Foundation has conferred the Indian Achievers Award for Health Excellence on Selva K. Sundaramurthy, Chairman and Medical Director of Lotus Eye Care Hospital here. A release issued by the hospital on Tuesday said former Governor of Tamil Nadu Bishma Narain Singh presented the award to Dr. Sundaramurthy at a national seminar on “Globalisation of Indian Industries and World Peace” in New Delhi recently. The release said the award was given to the eye surgeon in appreciation of his efforts to introduce new technology in the field of eye care and for conducting free eye screening and surgery camps in rural and urban areas in this region. Dr. Sundaramurthy said he owed the award to the entire team in his hospital that took part in all the activities, including community eye care.
