Family Card Verification
District Collector V. Palanikumar has exhorted the residents to provide all information including details of family card to the staff visiting houses from July 1 for a door-to-door verification. In a release, Collector said that 100 per cent verification of PDS family cards by visiting the cardholders at their doorstep is being done to eliminate bogus cards. During the verification visit, residents are requested to provide their family card to the staff for verification besides details on electricity connection, photo voter identity card and LPG connection.
The Collector also announced that printed application forms are available free of cost at the of office of Civil Supplies Tahsildar/Taluk Supply Officer and the District Supply Officer. Public are requested to make use of this form for applying for new family card.
