Hoteliers Agreed For Price Reduction
The Collector, V. Palanikumar, has asked the members of the hoteliers association to ensure that the price reduction announced by the Chief Minister was adhered to all the hotels across the district. The Collector held a meeting at the Collectorate with the representatives of the hoteliers association in this connection on Wednesday. Hoteliers’ association office-bearers had promised the Collector that steps would be taken to ensure the price reduction in all the hotels.The Collector exhorted the hoteliers to ensure that there were no complaints from the consumers in terms of quality of food as a fall out of the price reduction. Hoteliers also informed the Collector that notices/announcements would be put in front of the hotels in a prominent manner. Assistant Collector, J. Chandrakumar, District Supply and Consumer Protection Officer, R. Durairaj, hotel owners’ association representatives, Vivek Srinivasan, Purushottaman, C.R. Senthilkumar, R. Gajendran and others took part.
