City Police arrested Nagarajan, an office assistant with the Corporation on charges of having cheated Shankar, an engineering graduate of Kaveripattinam in Krishnagiri district. It is learnt that Nagaraj took more than Rs. 1 lakh from the complainant, promising to get him a job in the civic body’s engineering wing. The accused allegedly gave a forged appointment order containing a forged signature of the district collector.
