Meeting:
Export Credit Guarantee Corporation released a claim cheque for Rs. 1.40 crore to UCO Bank , Trichy Road branch, at a function held here recently. A release from the corporation said it also organised a bankers’ meet and entered into bank assurance agreements.
Conference:
Avinashilingam University and Texas Tech University will organise a conference on “Advances in textiles, machinery, nonwoven and technical textiles” from July 14 to 16 in Coimbatore. E.V.K.S. Elangovan, Union Minister of State for Textiles will inaugurate the programme. Technical sessions and special lectures will be organised.
