Debit Waiver :
Bank of India has started issuance of the debt waiver and relief certificate to farmers benefiting under the Agricultural Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme – 2008. A release from the bank said it had started issuing the certificates in Coimbatore Zone, covering 62 branches in 19 districts. Functions were held recently in Chinnakattalai (Madurai District) and Periyakottai (Sivaganga District). Relief letters were given to 1,391 farmers.
National seminar :

Loan campaign :
Indian Bank will organise an educational loan campaign on July 20 at its P.N. Palayam branch located on Avanashi Road. International conference :
The Departm-ent of Textile Technology of the PSG College of Tech-nology will conduct an international conference on ‘Performance Wear and Functional Textiles’ in collaboration with Tecn-iTex Non-wovens Private Limited, Bangalore, and The Institute of Environm-ental and Human Health, Texas Tech University, the U.S. on July 24 and 25.
