ICAI Identify Oppertunities In Ins Sector
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has set up a committee to identify the opportunities in Insurance and Pension sector and equip members to find a new niche for themselves, G.Ramaswamy, Central Council Member of ICAI, said today. objectives of the committee was to identify the emerging professional opportunities in the Insurance and Pension sector for the members, both in practice and in service and train and equip members in insurance sector through various modes including launch of post-qualitication courses and other educational course in the sector, he said.
ICAI has commenced its diamond jubilee celebrations from July one 2008 at Delhi and the Coimbatore branch has planned to conduct diamond jubilee seminar, conferences, lectures and competitions for the benefits of the members, students and public at learge in the next 12 months, he told reporters here. On new initiatives taken by ICAI, Ramaswamy said that the council has approved New Advertiseent Guidelines for the members in practice which enabled them to compete in this 'practical scenario'.
