Information Centre Opened
An information centre for the benefit of people wanting to visit Sri Mahalakshmi Golden Temple of Sree Narayanee Peetam at Sreepuram near Vellore is being opened at Gandhipuram on July.A release from Sree Narayanee Peetam said that Golden Temple for Mahalakshmi was constructed in 100 acres of land near Vellore with 1,500 kg of gold plating. The temple has come up in a sprawling 55 thousand square feet area.
The temple has a nine feet tall statue of the presiding deity of Mahalakshmi Amman and the Rajagopuram with five decks is 48 ft tall. Poojas are being performed for over ten hours every day drawing lots of devotees from all walks of life.In order to provide information for those wanting to visit the temple, an information centre was being opened at RV Hotel Complex in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore. This information center will be inaugurated at 7.00 a.m. on July 2.
